About me

Nami Nelson

My career has spanned over 20 years in public heath, health promotion and international development designing, managing and implementing programs that support positive change; change in perspectives, change toward healthier behaviours and practices and change that strengthen systems and responses.

I have always been fascinated by the way individuals and societies work, embedding myself in different cultures, learning languages and being curious about the patterns in speech, cultures and behaviours.

My life experience has also provided the opportunity to witness the immense capacity we have to “rewire” the brain whether it is as a result of injury, trauma or simply responding to change in the environment or social/work context.

I bring my training in strategic psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy, and depth of professional and life experience and commitment to supporting and empowering my clients to realise change and move forward.
